Atira Property Management Inc. is pleased to announce it has acquired the portfolio of Croft Agencies

Atira Property Management Inc. is pleased to announce it has acquired the portfolio of Croft Agencies, a South Surrey based property management company and real estate brokerage. Atira will begin managing the portfolio effective September 16th, with the support of Lynda Croft, who will stay on through an indefinite transition period. All Croft staff have accepted positions with Atira Property Management and it is expected Croft clients will maintain their current property manager and support staff. The Croft office in South Surrey will remain open for business.

“We at Atira Property Management are pleased to expand our portfolio. After nine years in the property management business, we have developed a reputation for quality service supporting an important mission and are excited for the opportunity to grow our business in such an important market,” says Sarah Boatman, chair of the Atira Property Management board of directors.

Atira Property Management Inc. currently manages 78 buildings in communities across the Lower Mainland. The Croft acquisition increases that number to 138 buildings, plus a substantial pool of single units.

“With the acquisition of the Croft portfolio we are not only increasing the size of our portfolio and improving our long term profitability and support to Atira Women’s Resource Society,” says Janice Abbott, CEO of Atira, “we are also bringing on a talented and experienced staff who can’t help but enhance the quality of service already being provided by Atira.”

Atira Property Management Inc. is a mission-driven property management company which devotes its net profits to eliminating all forms of violence against women and children. It is solely owned by Atira Women’s Resource Society, an established not-for-profit organization incorporated in 1983.

”We at Croft Agencies are very pleased to turn our company over to Atira, I have met with Janice Abbott numerous times discussing our business and found she leads a great company that puts its clients at the centre,” says Steve Croft president of Croft Agencies. “My wife Lynda and I have worked very hard to build our company and wanted to leave it in good hands . We feel with Atira we have left all our staff and clients in great hands.”
